Enviro-Bear 2010 all the way. Since you're new to the magical world of iPhone gaming, a brief look into the mysterious, rich phenomenon that is Enviro-Bear. The first thing you should know: This is a love or hate game, which is common for comedic, awesome titles like Enviro-Bear. People trash it as the worst game ever made but do not have any solid evidence. The cool people hail it as what Toucharcade calls it, "the Citizen Kane of iPhone games." Enviro-Bear 2010's game premise is ridiculous, non-realistic and epic. You are a 2d one- armed bear in an orange automobile driving through a 2d forest causing havoc, interacting with other animals and eating everything in a short, frantic quest to gain fat and hibernate. Along the way you'll encounter foes such as badgers, wasps and... trees. There are easter eggs like the famed Golden Fish and the psychedelic mushrooms that.... well, I won't spoil it for you. The graphics are, let's face it, the lowest possible, in what looks like it was whipped up on Microsoft Paint. But this just ADDS to the craziness and stupid fun of the game. This is what some humorless nerds use to put it down as a bad game, when really graphics aren't everything. You can't help but laugh when you're controlling this hungry computerized bear in his cozy orange car. A little content check: 1. Plot: 1/10 There IS none. But who the %!#@?! cares? 2. Sound: 9/10 A little bouncy soundtrack plus bear growls, car crashes and the like are actually pretty complete. 3. Graphics: 8/10 Even though 2d and bland, they are PERFECT for the feel of the game. 4. Overall Effect: 10/10 No game has ever made me feel so... I don't know how to say it. Happy? Fun? Put me in a good mood? EPIC? 5. Physics: 7/10 There's actually a cool little physics interaction engine going on- different items in the game can be used to manipulate others. In all, Enviro-Bear 2010 should at least be checked out, praised by Toucharcade themselves and many members of the community. For 99 cents, it's a complete steal. Seriously, such an acclaimed game for the price of a hash brown at McDonald's? Why not? NOTE: IT CAN ONLY BE ENJOYED IF YOU HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR. Other cool lesser known games you should at least look at: - Spider: Secret of Bryce Manor (Toucharcade's Game of the Year) - Edge- Neat platformer, a lot of history behind it... -So Long, Oregon! - Same ridiculousness of Enviro-Bear 2010 -Zen Bound- a relaxing physics puzzle w/ great graphics -Beat It! An innovative rhythm game that takes SKILL. - Jet Car Stunts- A challenging indie racer, big cult following -Eliss: A frantic, charming think-fast-or-lose clean game. - Super Mega Worm: Awesome. -Phoenix Wright: Uber Awesome.
Space Miner: Space Ore Bust Phoenix Wright Monkey Island 2 Rolando 2 Jet Car Stunts Helsing's Fire Peggle Super QuickHook
I don't really get the point of asking for suggestions though... there are game impressions and reviews, categorized with genres, etc given all over this place. And plus if you get a list of 20 games it wouldn't be much help for you either. No harm done though. If you think this is the best way for you to decide which game to get.... so be it.
He wasn't asking for people's favorite games, although that's what he's getting. If that's all you want you might as well look through the top 100/148/300 best sellers. Any question that can be answered by Enviro-Bear is a poorly formed question.
Is there an app out there where I can drive through a pixel vomit forest with a pixel vomit bear, but!!! ...with only one pixel vomit arm?
