Pretty much every twin-stick shooter (TSS) I've seen sets you in a single level and sends waves of things after you. Some of the better ones change up the levels a bit (a la Alive 4 Ever), but the basic idea is still similar. Does anyone know if a TSS exists that lets you wander around in an open world environment and go where you want? A TSS that lets you do that, with the ability to find weapon upgrades like a Zelda game would be awesome. Does anyone know of one, for any platform?
