Still enjoying this game, (among the many,) and welcome the new updates.

What's new:

* Add new challenge mode
* The new challenge mode will be unlocked with the stages or saved games in normal mode.
* If your saved game (s) all ready passed the stages in normal mode you will be able to pass all the challenge stages.
* The challenge mode are different from the stages in normal mode. Each challenge stage has the goal to achieve.
* Its supports game challenge Game Center Leaderboard.

Also the game has gone up to $3.

On my device (2nd gen iPod touch) I noticed the slowdown mentioned on the iTunes description. I believe it may be connected to semitransparent UI elements - the slowdown greatly increases when the "Mission Success/Failure" screen is displayed.

For the achievements that require us to play on specific levels, do we ever get a chance to go back and repeat them? Or would we have to start a new game from scratch?

Indeed, after the disappointment of, lets face it 'also-rans' such as Revolt, Age of Zombies and yes, even Gun Bros, despite a very fuzzy gameplay vid, we might just be looking at something special here?! Unless you're looking for Infinity Blade rivalling iOS gaming, you can't help but consider the graphics simply sensational. I just hope that the real life gameplay is genuinely deserving of those fabulous visuals. Oh and I'll get in nice and early and say now that the all-important Retina Display friendly Hi-Def graphics that we iGamers are possibly starting to take for granted, would be a very welcome addition to any planned future update(s)! Yep, many have come and gone, but as far as I'm concerned, the only true epic to hit the genre since Minigore has been CAVE's refreshingly retro and deliciously different Mishi, Mushi erm, Bug Panic! But you never know, we may just have a new sci-fi/twin-stick hero on our hands here. Well, I for one certainly hope so. Roll on midnight, because I really can't wait to find out...
100% agree. I'm just like you, love twin stick shooters, got most of them but looking at the video it seems excellent.

Cant see how i missed this game out the first time. Just bought it now

This one got old for me very quickly. The UI is really not intuitive, and playing the same level layout over and over again made it lose and built-up goodwill. It's too bad, because I really wanted to like it.

Anyone (devs or other) knows if a retina update is due?
I think the technology has reached that level now finally with iOS 5 etc.
I really like the game just wish i wasn't so ugly

Feedback after playing for five minutes, since I don't know if I will go back to it.

Controls are buttery smooth, making the player feel connected to the gameplay. Weapons seam to be pretty cool, judging more from the video than anything.

Presentation is severely lacking. Lack of Retina is unacceptable. There seems to be elevation shifts in terms of the terrain, but my robot walks on a flat plain.

I could have sworn I played this game or a game similar to it about a year ago... Is this a new release or re-release?
