      Yes, the title is correct. There is a way to get games and apps, like 7swords prologue, which are only supposed to be released for certain devices (iPhone or 2g) working on an iPod Touch 1g WITHOUT JAILBREAKING. Even applications needing a microphone (if you have an external one). The best thing is this is completely legal. It just involves a few file editing skills.

      Isn't it weird that its this easy to change, but for some reason they won't allow some games on certain devices? Something to ponder...

      Nothing here to ponder, the dev chooses which devices to include when publishing the game through iTunes, and sometimes they mess up.

      I tried to do this with Curveballz Deluxe and it didn't work. Would somebody else please try it? I've done it twice with the same result so maybe it's just me.

      I forgot to mention that Curveballz Deluxe is free so no expense is involved.

      Thanks, actually 7swords only works for iPhone. So got it to work with iPod2G and it was full of Japanese players :D

      Does this work for ipod2g in the same method? and how does 7swords work if it requires a network?
