The choices scream "here's an excuse to start a poll". How do we know if you should wait for a game we haven't played yet?
You may be right but how do you know? Everyone loves the game that's not out yet. Then it comes out and people start a poll for the next upcoming game.
Unless you want TBN's opinion, there's really no reason you can't wait a week or so to make a poll for some real opinions
Blades of Fury is great, but it sounds like Hybrid is just a different game altogether -- more of an RPG than a fighting game. Check out TouchGen's review of Hybrid for more info. One thing for sure -- Blades of Fury is not just pretty graphics -- it's a surprisingly sophisticated fighting game with spot on controls.
I think this is a legit poll. That exact question is in my head. I'm totally going to wait for eternal whisper, unless it's not out within a week. I will be comparing the two before I buy, of course, so I guess there is some what of a point to the negative posts.
I just bought Blades, and I'm a bit disappointed. It's slow, there's no more action than button mashing, and poor poor combo mechanics (aerials, for the most). Characters are not so well animated, too, sometimes feel like robots fighting with sticks. Voices are overacted, making it less immersive. The only AAA part of this game is graphics, they are fantastic. Well, I was expecting much more from such a big company Hybrid looks awesome thanks to its concept, on the other hand.
Even though Blades of Fury is the first Gameloft game that I really got into and have been stunned by the presentation, Hybrid has a very engrossing storyline that keeps you playing for much, much longer. In terms of gameplay, they both exceed my expectations for an iPhone game. I was captivated by Hybrid's story unlockables, visuals, gameplay, and BoF was stunning when it came to unlockable costumes and Gorgeous visuals for an iPhone game. They are both great overall when it comes to comparing other games of each genre respectively. *Note I'm a beta tester
I say you wait for Hybrid. I say this with all my heart because it is a fantasic game that will be worth the wait. Also im a tester so you know this is coming from a good source. I just hope it comes soon because i want my $10 so i can buy MC: Sandstorm...
