Hey, I thought I'd better start a thread on here about my latest game. It's a demolition derby game inspired by Destruction Derby 2. Currently it has no name. There will be: 8 tracks and 2 bowl arenas Reverse course racing 11 AI cars/characters - 12 cars racing at any one time Dynamic weather Car damage Time trial mode Championship mode Car Setup Pitstops Tilt, digital touch and analogue touch controls Here's some screens and a video: This video is a bit old, the AI cars are all the same and there's no damage system.
This looks like a perfect game. Any release date? Could you share the title of the video? Tapping the embedded link crashes my device
Thanks Danny, here's the URL to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6G_aUPjrXw - The name of the video is Destruction Derby 2 like game for mobile -Video 2 if you need to search for it. No release date yet but I'd say about end of October time.
Can you post a more recent video of what it looks like when you're actually in the destruction derby events?
Well, I hope the final product outshines the video here. I'm not liking what I see so far. Environments look empty, car detail looks dismal, all the other cars look alike, no collision damage at this point, no arena footage (which is what I want to see), not much sense of speed, controls seem stiff, and I don't even like the engine sounds. Guess this sounds kinda harsh, but I calls it the ways I sees it. Would have rather waited to see a more polished product in action, as this doesn't get me excited at all. The perpetual wait goes on for a proper demolition derby game that really kicks ass here on the IOS. There's actually a good one on the Android right now that's better than anything I've seen other than on a console to this date. Oh well.
