I voted for role playing games, because nothing can beat a game where you can customize your character and join friends to slaughter things. The game i chose was uhm, use to be Two Worlds for Xbox 360, but I don't have a favorite now.
Its rpg for me because of how you can customize and develop a character and most of the genre's story is engaging..The mechanics and types of gameplay are some of the most diverse and inovative..
Puzzle games, I like to exercise my brain through games, and there's something about solving puzzles that's more appealing to me than repeting the same moves (eg. jump) or level up in other type of games. The favorite is the adaptation of one of my childhood classics: The Incredible Machine.
