It's very good initially, but grind heavy with little other than aesthetic pursuits to keep you playing. I played the bejesus out of it when it first came out with the coin doubler and had just about unlocked all the dogs, updated to the 5G, lost everything, then at some point after it had been pulled, noticed the whole in-game store stuff had disappeared (things were listed but had no price and I couldn't buy anything), so I deleted it.
So, being back at square one for a game I've already played the heck out of, not sure if it will last on my device or not. Widescreen support aside, this game's biggest flaw is that, although charming and fun, it's not particularly well tuned in terms of unlocks. With nothing done to deepen the unlock system or take advantage of newer hardware, seems little point to bringing the game back now.
