"It's rare to find a game that does something so original so well, with every element of gameplay and design falling into place. Simogo has pulled it off with Beat Sneak Bandit. In my books it's a must buy, and such a shame it would be to miss out." - TouchArcade

"It's impossible not to fall in love with this funky little number." - Videogamer.com

"Beat Sneak Bandit is polished, challenging, wholly original and a heck of a lot of fun. Its a great example of how presentation, control and design can come together to create a cohesive and extremely fun package. Dont miss it!" - IGN

"Quick to get into but devilish in the detail, Beat Sneak Bandit makes all the right noises, and in what's already a strong year for mobile gaming, this is the best iPhone game I've played." - Eurogamer

"Every now and again though, a game comes along for iOS that knocks you for six, and re-ignites your passion for not just iOS gaming, but gaming in general. Well, Beat Sneak Bandit is one such game." - Touchgen

"It's an unlikely mix for sure, but Beat Sneak Bandit's smart blend of puzzling and beat-matching proves to be an ingeniously crafted delight." - Pocketgamer

"You'll be hard pressed to put this game down until you've 'clocked' it entirely - a must have for all iPhone gamers." - Appspy

"A true work of art, in so many ways. It's smart. It's challenging. It's gorgeous. But most importantly, it's fun - dizzying, dreamy, and delightful fun." - Gamezebo

I want to buy because I enjoy puzzlers and stealth but can someone explain the game? I just can't wrap my head around the mechanics

Or are there any similar flash games I can play to get feel for the concept?
I just couldn't too. But when I played, I got it in a minute or two. The music has a beat, there is a blinking icon to show you the beat. If you touch the screen at the beat (when the icon flashes) the Bandit moves. If you touch the screen out of the beat, he fails to move. I always play folowing the beat with my foot on the ground and touching the screen at same time my foot touch the ground.

Anyway, it's a great game. I don't regret que purchase at all.

Playing a lot: Fifa 13, Cosmic Mechanic, Table Top Raging and Random Heroes 2.
Indication: Random Heroes 2

Seven Tap Pipe Achievemnt

This one reads "Complete Basement 7 on 7 heat taps". What odes this mean? I got "Four Step Jig" without trying (just lucky), and that one reads the same.

What I have tried is only using string of 7 taps to win. So I pause 4 beats, tap 7, pause 2, tap 7 until I reach the final clock right on the 7th tap. This hasn't worked.

Am I only supposed to move the 7th beat out of the 8 beat measure?

Deleted this probably a year ago so relying on memory, but I'm pretty sure you have to complete the Basement 7 level in only 7 taps. You don't have to get all clocks to complete the level.

Wow, this did the trick. The way I was trying was MUCH harder!

Clearer descriptions needed for sure.

Thanks for the help.

Hey all, sorry to bring back an old thread but does this work on IOS 8? It's just that COD:BOZ doesn't and that needs 4.3 whereas this game needs 3.1.3 which is quite old... It's a great game and I want to buy it but there's no point if it won't work, thanks in advance

Funny, i was thinking of replaying it this afternoon...after spending some time with Planet Quest. No new highscore, argh.

Played the first three levels flawlessly on iphone 5s, latest ios 8 version. Last update was in late 2012. Actually, there never was any update. Perfect from the get go. Maybe we'll see an optimized screen update someday, Simogo ?
