I found it superior to Galcon in almost every way imaginable, thanks to a rather deep inter-match progression system, more mechanics in matches (the arrow towers, mana fountains), the number of additional game modes, pre-designed maps, the story, different armies to play, bosses, etc. For those who have played both, what does Tentacle Wars offer that Supremacy Wars did not, and is it enough to compensate for those mechanics that might not be present in Tentacle Wars? We should pretend that it was never released for iPad, and go "ahahahaha, tablet losers" TheFrost Well-Known Member Nov 18, 2010 5,772 0 0 #7 TheFrost, Jul 18, 2012 Played the flash version a bit when the iPad version was released and it was very good, and Sanukus video showed a more complete version, so insta-buy tonight Comassion Well-Known Member May 23, 2009 258 0 0 #8 Comassion, Jul 18, 2012 The video sold me - I'll give this a shot. It answers most questions you might have about this game on there, I know it answered mine at least. TheFrost Well-Known Member Nov 18, 2010 5,772 0 0 #10 TheFrost, Jul 19, 2012 Bought... been playing and its like the flash version, but a lot better and with GameCenter multiplayer, achievements and leaderboards. And a voice that reminds me of Supreme Commander It a strategy game about cells and cell conquest, with tentacles to help you. Its good, been waiting for this since the iPad version and not dissapointed... Its a good as I wanted it to be And GameCenter Online... Although the game is a little short, only 40 levels (with more to come it says), this makes up for it. If you like strategy games with controls and looks that fits a touch screen, this maybe for you Future777 FDG Entertainment<br />Co-Founder Patreon Studio Dec 3, 2008 2,339 8 38 http://www.fdg-entertainment.com #11 Future777, Jul 19, 2012 Thanks everyone! +1 @TheFrost for sharing some first impressions ^^ sugimulm Well-Known Member Aug 28, 2010 2,456 46 48 The last time zone for iOS game releases :( #12 sugimulm, Jul 19, 2012 Damn, I hesitated on the iPad version and decided to buy this version. Got Cover Orange free on one of those free-for-a-day drops and it became a favorite of the kids. While I personally could never stand Cover Orange because of the soundtrack, everything FDG touches is pretty much gold. Blosics, Blueprint, Across Age, Clear Vision and even Cover Orange (hate to admit it ) are all very much App Store classics. dib Well-Known Member Apr 22, 2011 307 0 16 #17 dib, Jul 19, 2012 I typically play mobile games on mute anyway. The sheer abundance of level updates is remarkable for Cover Orange alone. They're still updating it after all this time, and never charged more than a $1. Wasn't sure what to make of Tentacle Wars initially. The tutorial didn't do much, but turns out there is a fair amount of strategy at work and I'm actually enjoying it. Like the rest of the apps, it's novel and may prove to be greater than the sum of its parts. I would say it's worth checking out.
