yeah I saw this ending already but im still not getting why he dies again >.< I thought i had finally beaten the game but it started all over again.
I would actually appreciate it if someone explained that scene to me. I have no idea what it means after watching it twice...
As someone said before I think you basically replace the God king when you kill him so it's like a never ending cycle.

NO you don't replace the king when he dies. just like if you choose the alternate ending, you go back to the boss fight again. you're just some peasant dude on a backwater planet who is really strong but ignorant of technology. it's a mix between cthulhu and halo. he has no idea the universe out there that the god king protected him from (and is trying to raise up people to fight). if you look at the throne he's on you can see the little device while he's still sitting down before a fight, by the way. it's by his right thigh.
