^This^ Halfbrick's idea of Freemium is,"So yeah, you've been playing our game for 10-15 hours now without worrying about pay-walls... how about throwing us a few bucks?" Hardly intrusive, and just one of many reasons to love 'em. You buy the IAPs because the game is good, not because you have no choice. Looking forward to seeing what the Hb gang have in store for us... DBC
Hey guys! James here, the Community Coordinator at Halfbrick. Call me Peanuts! Just wanted to say a quick g'day in the lead-up to our big reveal on March 26. I'm sure you're all itching to know more and we can't wait to unveil Fish Out Of Water to the world! I'll be stopping by on a regular basis to answer your questions (where possible) and also to organise some cool community events specifically for the Touch Arcade forum members. In the meantime, we'd love for you to join the discussion over at our new Facebook page so we can continue to grow the community. 'LIKE' us at www.facebook.com/fishoutofwater and tell your friends so we can keep the momentum going! Thanks for all your support and stay tuned for more exciting info! Cheers, Peanuts
From a marketing perspective, it might be ideal for the app store to release this tomorrow if the game is approved. (What other action packed, potentially addictive titles are confirmed this week besides Ms. 'Splosion Man?)
Please tell me that this is coming out this week. It would be so awesome - well, everything made by Halfbrick is awesome.
Edit: According to this site it will launch very soon at a price of $0.99 http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/26/halfbricks-next-game-is-fish-out-of-water/
