Just make sure you've got Sonic CD and you're set :)

  4. Also, how are the controls in this game? Platform controls rarely seem to play well on the ipad, but hopefully it is good in this game.

    Which ones are recommended?

By the way, what's wrong with the AppStore links?? In the past you could post several in one thread and they would all display properly. Now, only one displays properly

Looks like it's time to pick up Sonic 4 Episode II.

  7. Got a question for ipad users.

Which is better for the ipad, sonic 4 episode 1 hd, or sonic 4 episode 2 universal.

Kind of interesting that one is hd and one is universal. Looking at the youtube videos episode 1 looks a little bit slower in gameplay. But I wonder since it was made for the ipad, would it be better than episode 2 which is universal.

If there is anyone that has played both games on the ipad, please comment. I'll probably buy one of them, but not both since I'm not too much of a sonic fan, but it sure does bring back some old memories...

The Sonic Spinball one has been 99 cents since January, though, so it's not a new price drop.

I never played Spinball, but CD, 4-EpI and 4-EpII are all great and well worth their prices.

Get all of them if you can.

  13. Oh just noticed sonic 4 ep 2 has a lite version, cool.

Which should an ipad owner buy, 4 ep 1 hd for 2 dollars, or 4 ep 2 universal for 5 dollars? Anyone?
