I would like to get some screenshots out but unfortunately it just isn't ready and all our efforts are currently concentrated on getting the game presentable for the IGF:Mobile competition. As soon as we get to a point where we can provide some screenshots we will surely give an update
So after the submission deadline Dec 1st, we can see screens and video? Good luck at the competition btw.
Cheers for the good luck messages. As soon as the IGF submission is out of the way we will get some screenys and a teaser video of somekind out. For the most up to date info then follow us on twitter - http://twitter.com/MysteryMarines
We now have a youtube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/mysterymarines) where we are putting together all sorts of footage and a blog(http://mysterymarines.blogspot.com/) where we are soon going to run a Catch Up session which will cover the development of the game and don't forget to keep up with the latest news on twitter too (http://twitter.com/MysteryMarines)
Just added more in game footage to the youtube channel showing off the gesture system, enemies and various ways to get around the levels
Wow that looks really great, but the game it really reminds me of is Kamicrazy rather than Donkey Kong, since this is more about item placement rather than platforming acrobatics. Also wish you had an option to use virtual controls that are fast and responsive instead of obscuring the screen all the time in a puzzle platformer. Other than that, this might be one to watch. Might post the other vids later.
Kartel we didn't go for the virtual controls because we find these obscure more of the screen than a quick flick or tap of the finger. In the new year we will be looking for testers so be sure to give us a shout and hopefully we can get some good feedback not only about the control mechanism but the game itself.
I noticed that this game was in the IGF 2010 Entries List(second page). It looks really good and I love adventure games. Will keep an eye out for this when it hits the App Store.
