Sonic Racing is better than all 4 of them combined. Asphalt, Fast Five, Death Rally, etc...there's more than enough racing games better than than the NFS games. Oh, thanks for sharing though. UmbraVir Well-Known Member Sep 4, 2011 491 0 0 Student CT #5 UmbraVir, Oct 18, 2011 I don't understand why you're being so hostile. First, you have to recognize that I was giving gratitude to the thread starter for posting the sale, regardless of whether I ended up buying it or not. Second, I have just as much of a right to post what I wanted as much as you do posting asinine comments such as yours. Honestly, I was merely stating that racing games are very prevalent in the iOS appstore. If you're going to assault my taste in iOS games, when I didn't even remotely hint that Sonic All-Star isn't as good as any games in the NFS series, you're seriously misunderstanding. Thanks for sharing how much of an offensive person you can be though, really appreciate it. backtothis im in ur base killin ur d00dz Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze Jul 13, 2009 13,250 1 0 college student (junior) Houston/Austin, TX https://twitter.com/back2this #6 backtothis, Oct 18, 2011 Last edited: Oct 18, 2011 Cool story bro; tell it again, etc. The day people start considering sarcasm as offensive over the Internet..well, I'll be. I mean, you're saying that a person who has never played Sonic All-Stars is putting it in an inferior light compared to games the NFS series. How is that at all pertinent to what I was implying? And don't even bring other people into this. I read Hodapp's articles and his comments on the front page often. He's not blatantly rude to his readers unless someone takes the initiative to offend him, in which case he has the right to lash back. But you, honestly. It's annoying to see someone misunderstand a comment and then attack the person for it. And then continue to assume that he was being sarcastic? Really. Kart racing is all about power-ups and wild tracks. NFS is arcade racing and Real Racing is as close to a sim as your going to get. I consider all three series to have their own merits. I just think as far as kart racing, you can't do much better than this on the iOS. Can't think of another in the genre that I liked as much. Anyway, just thought I'd throw out that you're really comparing apples to oranges as the games are really different animals. It's the best kart racer though. NFS Undercover is the best racing game you've played? Haha, we judge games differently. You put them into the time frame from when they came out instead of comparing it with the newest options; I don't. I remember you did that from your top 10 list. It's from early 2009 and easily inferior to more modern titles, at least from a technical viewpoint. I agree it's the best from the series on the iOS though. The series really went downhill from there. Lol, hell, it's only a two dollars..I'll gift him the game if he wants to give me his email. If I were to sit down and play Half Life 2 right now, followed immediately by playing RAGE, RAGE would be the clear the winner. But if I were to go back to 2004 and play Half Life 2, and then play RAGE today, then the clear winner would be HL2. You can't compare old games to new ones. I thought the original Brothers in Arms ( December 2008) was brilliant when I first got the game. I'll acknowledge that a game was good for it's time period, but upon comparison with newer games that are in fact better, I'm not going to say the older game was better just because it was better than the games that existed then to a greater extent than the newer game is better than other current games.
