My game, Dummy Defense is free today. I have also just finished a major update that includes a new level pack with 32 new levels. The level pack is a $0.99 in-app purchase, but I am giving away 100 of them for free on Reddit. Here's an awesome trailer for the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2ZsOB6EkuM Here's a link to the game: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dummy-defense/id460832678?mt=8
If the dev is still here, I have a quick question: How are IAPS given out without having a separate version that has them included? It isn't as I'd there is a promo code mechanism for such a thing. I'm just curious, because, to be honest, iTunes and its inner mechanics still baffle me.
Did you realize that the icon that appears on the screen on a retina iPad is a generic one, not the Dummy Defense icon, for the game? You might want to fix that. (Edit: Emailed dev with a photo instead.)
@Greyskull, I implemented my own promo code handler inside my game that knows how to open a dummydefense:// link with a promo code. It then simply unlocks the feature that the promo code is for, as long as the code has not been depleted, which I track on my own web server. These promo codes are in no way affiliated with Apple. They are my own format and tracked only by me.
