Liked on Facebook, played and reviewed on US app store as Kujen. I hope you do not find my review harsh, I always try to be honest and provide constructive criticism. I see good possibilities for this game, so I hope my review provides some useful feedback!

Promising, but needs a lot of work to become great
Medal of Gunner could be a great game, but it needs a lot of work. Right now it seems very unpolished with messy icons and bad grammar. On an iPad 3, the UI and icons were blurry and not as sharp as the rest of the game. Also, during the tutorial, some of the text went off of the right side of the screen and I could not read it. In the options menu, the text is cut off at the top. I also don't like the font and color of the text. Everything regarding the UI and text just looks bad and unpolished - it detracts from a promising game.

In addition to those issues, there are parts of the game with poor translation, grammar and spelling errors. For example the tutorial for the shop says "buy after read description". Another part says "You can change [the] control options" then it repeats "you can change [then] control options". I hate to be so picky, but the grammar isn't good, and again makes it looked unpolished and turns me off from the game.

The actual gameplay seems alright, actually pretty fun! You do missions to defend your bomber from enemy planes. Their locations are called out to you and you try to find them and shoot them down, using various turret positions. You can buy upgrades such as new ammo, armor, oil, and telescopes. The scopes give you extra information in locating the enemy planes, I found them very useful! Some are in-app-purchases but most are purchased with coin you earn doing missions.

You get to choose whether you want to control your sights with either tilt control or joypad. But you can only change the sensitivity from the main menu. It would be nice if you could pause the mission and change the sensitivity there. Also, I think the setting should be separate for tilt and joypad, because I personally felt the default sensitivity was set too high for tilt and too low for joypad, so I wish I could change them separately to suit my preferences.

There's some additional feedback I'd like to mention that I hope will be implemented. There's a tips window that appears when you begin a mission, but it disappears too quickly. I think it should stay there until you click it off. The game has nice background music but it only plays on the main menu, it could use some music on the after-mission menu, and during the game. There is currently none, it's silent. It would also be cool if you could hear more radio chatter among your squadron. Lastly, I would love to see Game Center integration with achievements and a leaderboard!

So in conclusion, the actual gameplay is pretty decent, some little extras like Game Center, more background music, and radio chatter would really add to it. But currently it looks unpolished, and more than anything it needs improvements for the UI, text, and grammar.

There's something about PictoSoft games that bring back memories of old-school console games. The graphics aren't the clearest and the grammar isn't the best but you still have a blast playing them.

You start off being the gunner in a plane with 8 stations. Enemy planes come in from every direction and you have to cycle through the various stations to keep them from shooting down your plane. It can get pretty intense which adds to the excitement and addictiveness of this game. There are also a lot of upgrades you get to unlock to help defend against the stronger enemies.

If I could offer a few suggestions ...
* There needs to be a button to resync the the tilt orientation. If you start the game with your device laying flat, you'll end up standing on your head to shoot the lower planes. Make sure you start the game holding your device at a comfortable angle.
* Another feature that I would like to see are inverted controls.
* Finally, the ability to change your sensitivity in real-time. Right now, you have to quit the mission, go into the settings, then restart the mission from the beginning. It's frustrating to get your sensitivity just right when you first start playing.

Overall, if you're a fan of PictoSoft games like I am then you will like this game. Even with its flaws, it's a wonderful game to play.

wow..i mean really..wow!! medal of honor...i mean medal of gunner...you did not dissappoint me here..this is one hell of a DOGFIGHT people!!! i mean it. first of all it has a relistc feel to it..when playing the game..you wouldn't hear any music just the sound of the propeler, the weapon firing, the warning from the pilot, radio communication and best of all, my favorite, the sound of an exploding and falling war plane..KUDOS to you pictosoft!!! also i love the fact that you can change positions here..its like I'm really riding the war plane I'm the one really shooting those nazis..hahaha..and i LOVE it!! Don't forget that it's also a universal app..ahhh...i'm playing it in my iPad2 right now. Superb graphics, superb effects and superb SFX!!! definitely a 5 star but wait..i still have some suggestions listed below:

1. i want to change the sensitivity by pausing the game..but oh..i can't see it in the pause menu..so i have to quit the game..so..you know..could you integrate the adjust sensitivity in the pause menu..so that we don't have to quit in the middle of the game just to adjust it.

2. i don't see any inverse control for the tilt control..can you add it??

3. i don't see my achievements..is there any?? oh..wait..i think i can't find THE gamecenter or openfeint here?? can you add either one of these two and lots of achievement with it?

4. MULTIPLAYER!!!!!!! this needs multiplayer..an enless multiplayer co-op mode.

i hope you can do something about it..i definitely will give you a perfect 5 star for being the perfect DOGFIGHT app out here!!!
