I think the chances are pretty slim. The developers of the original game (atlus) handed the game to another studio for the iPhone port. An hd version would mean redrawing of all the original artwork by the original dev. Anything could happen but the cost of doing the new graphics might not be worth it unless they see great sales and user demand for it

As you've probably noticed, this is not XBox Arcade . It's a $10 port of $30 game (currently $29.99 on the PSN store to be exact). The texture issues are likely there in the PSP version just not noticeable in it's lesser pixel density screen. The controls could definitely be improved, but the port gets so much right -- framerate, sound, voice acting, overall graphic quality -- that it feels churlish to dwell on what most reasonable people would see as small details. BTW, do they really have RPGs of this size and quality on XBox Arcade for $10? Damn!
Thank you for your comment. Do you or anyone else know, if this game will have the small size on the ipad, so I need to Zoom. or will it be the big size. (I have a few games that has it in it.) Started to Re-Buy the HD Versions for other games, so I hate to get it, if the screen gets all blurry, and they do release all the sudden an HD version. (need 2 more jobs to pay for all these games... ugh)

well nevermind , i couldn't wait i bought it now and waiting for it to download and i will test it on my iphone 3g and hopefully it will run smoothly oh man can't wait for the iphone 4 release date here in egypt.
Game Impressions Great JRPG Overall, if you only fixed the controls (sensitivity) i would rate it 10/10, the first great game for the iPhone that feels like a real quality game: No LAG in the game!
I really don't like the way the voice actors only read the last line of dialogue, but they do so as the first line of dialogue is displayed. It's very jarring, and I imagine it has to be a bug. I'm hoping it gets fixed quickly!
