I need to record my screen for my game, but I don't know what programs are good. Are there any free mac screen capture programs to record video of my game? I tried jing but it exports toto the wrong format.

Jing, my dear student, is a program that lets you record your screen. Very on topic, isn't it?

Jing worked perfectly, but it made the video in swf, or flash. I can't put it in iMovie, and I want it in at least QuickTime format. I don't know what to use to convert it.

I don't know either, I was being rude. Sorry :( Maybe open in quicktime and then "save as" a different file extension.

Change the file format, and if you want me to make a gameplay video or trailer, PM me. It is free, and if you don't like my work, feel free to reject it.

Lastly, ScreenFlow, while it is considered the best and most powerful screen-capturing tool for Macs, it's going to cost you a little if you get past the free demo.

A third vote for iShowU... I used it for my trailer and will definitely continue to use it on future projects!

Ishowu is good, but I need a free one or demo with no watermark. Ishowu had a watermark in the demo, so I couldn't use it.
