My char name displayed when starting a new game. I'm guessing it was that easy because I still had BG1 installed when starting a new BG2 game. I don't recall if my char retained equipment, $, etc. I was surprised I didn't have to import the file. somedumbgamer Well-Known Member May 4, 2013 709 0 0 #7 somedumbgamer, May 6, 2014 Works great for me. The second is better than the first but if you would like more of the story or characters, it's better to play first 1 and then the 2. It's more enjoyable with the correct timeline. utume2 Member May 6, 2014 21 0 0 #13 utume2, May 6, 2014 Great game. Worth every penny. They could even raise the price to 30$, its that good. Topherunhinged Well-Known Member Feb 7, 2014 422 0 0 #14 Topherunhinged, May 6, 2014 Well, considering that it was a $50 PC release in 2000... I'd say that makes sense. slamraman Well-Known Member Patreon Gold Aug 27, 2011 2,511 5 36 #15 slamraman, May 6, 2014 I actually forgot to pick this up so I might as well get it now.
