I was ready to help him out and suggest a good app to download legitimate stuff but he made two mistakes:

1)Stated his intent to pirate anime
    2)Posted on the wrong board

Huh, how is it illegal? Doesn't Apple have to approve each app on the store? I wasn't looking for trouble, jeez.

Hmm, wish somebody'd quoted him earlier. Sounds like he's backpedaling now.

Add: ohh, looks like the mods put him in time out from it.

What does he mean by downloader? if he means a legitimate app, then get spirit browser.

EDIT: Just so we're clear, I'm totally aginst Piracy and do not condone the usage of my recommendation for such purposes.

Im so against piracy, Pirate games ruin the app store. I have noticed many videos on youtube recently promoting pirated versions of games and i am so annoyed with it. Devs put money, time, effort and lots of tireless nights into making there games and these people just go around downloading it for free. Isnt there a way for devs to insert bugs in games or a file that makes the game only work on "real" devices?

Jailbreaking is not an act of piracy. Me and plenty others here have jailbreaked but still purchase apps.

Yep, it's one of the biggest misconceptions when it comes to the iPhone/iPod. Jailbreaking wasn't originally designed to pirate media files, but it seems these days that's the dominant role of them. They used to be mostly used for getting the most potential out of your device. I've never jailbroken any of my devices though, not interested in messing with that kind of thing, heheh. But yeah, there's even a forum here about jailbreaking. Also, there were waves of articles many months ago about how Apple acknowledges that jailbreaking their devices was legal, but just not supported by them.

Yes, this is quite confusing. I've seen those downloader apps that basically function like a mobile mediafire. Not sure why Apple would let that pass.
