So I'm looking for an unrelated app and low and behold, up comes up one of Khallid's piece of craps. It's $4.99 and has an awful icon, go figure. So I click it to see how bad the icons and description are... and get the message that this app is not available in the U.S. I do another search for Khalid Shaikh, and ALL of his apps are giving this message. Could it be that Apple FINALLY removed him??? A link to his "apps"
About. Freaking. TIME. He's gone from the Canadian store, too. I hope this is a permanent thing and not just some temporary problem with his dev account he'll eventually resolve. I'd love nothing more than to see his crapps unceremoniously yanked and shredded and never hear his accursed name again except in future "Hey, remember that douchebag" threads. Now we just need to do something about Brighthouse Labs...
http://bustedloop.com/blog/2009/7/7/how-much-does-it-cost-to-buy-every-iphone-app.html He was ranked #2 in the app store. rank name total paid apps total cost 1 Iceberg Reader 1206 $16,427.94 2 Khalid Shaikh 986 $4,714.14 3 PlayMesh 110 $3,214.90 4 Paragon Technologie GmbH 180 $3,116.20 5 Skyscape 40 $2,826.60 6 Lexi-Comp 15 $2,269.85 7 IndiaNIC Infocom Limited 366 $2,125.34 8 Innovative Language Learning, LLC 260 $1,730.40 9 Modality Inc. 61 $1,719.39 10 Brighthouse Labs 1602 $1,611.98
I am going to miss scrolling through all those apps to see what anything of value has come out... What am I going to do with all that extra time???
That's only #2 in terms of the total cost of all of his apps in the App Store -- which any moron can do if they have enough apps (either in low-priced quantity like Brighthouse Labs, or high priced like Iceberg) There is, however, a deeper truth in Khalid being #2...
oh i just noticed this but you remember that Khalid sheikh guy who got waterboarded like 183 times or something? well that app guy is Khalid sheikh as well! that's just wierd......
Yes, we went over that in at least two of the other threads about him. This is "our" Khalid (or so we believe anyway). From innovator to bottom feeder looking for millions in investment bucks. And now he and his apps are persona non grata on the App Store. At least, at the moment. If it becomes permanent, I may just decide to take up religion. Has Steve Jobs been sainted yet?
