No one has mentioned Shape Escape. It's been around for a couple of years - starts off easy to draw you in and then it becomes crazy. It's a really great puzzle game.

Shape Escape is a good and very underrated puzzler.

    Sorcerer of Fortune.
It's a match 3, but it has strong RPG components.
Similar to Puzzle Quest 2 and Dungeon Raid.
But the best game is *always* yet to come.

I can't bring myself to make a decision, but this is a very good answer.

Unfortunately, the developer doesn't have much love for their supporters. There were bugs that never got fixed, updates that were never done. Last one in Aug 2010. Great puzzler, but I don't think has aged well.

I would love to see the full implementation with all the power ups of the Drop 7 game.

There were some mentions of Everett Kaser's Honeycomb Hotel earlier in this thread. This actually came out on iOS a few weeks back.

For me, the only conceivable answer is the original Puzzle Quest, a game that spawned an entire genre. I owned it on DS, Pc/Mac, 360, iOS, etc. shame you can't get it on the App Store anymore, and the second game is not as good.
