anyone point me at a list of Asynchronous Multiplayer games? Id like to find more games such as Chess with Friends, where I can make a move and then others can play at their leisure. *I ran a search and couldnt find a good list, perhaps ive got poor searching skills.
Don't forget Chess with Friends. Nice idea for a thread - I love asynchronous multiplayer since I have an iPod Touch.
Well, time has passed, surely there are many more available now.. Im loving Words with Friends and Carcasonne. what else is out there that im missing?
i think it's misleading to put Carcasonne on the list. There's only async if you have the email of another person.
carcassonne is definitely one of the best and one of my favorite apps. It is easy to get someones email to play asynchronously. i even made a group a while back and there have been probably 50 ta users to post their emails in it.
this thread has actually come up 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Not criticizing the original poster- but in fact saying developers should probably take note of this, that these kind of apps are demanded. I think Highborn is meant to be asynchorous btw.
There are tons of players on Dominion. Looking at my phone right now... there are 10 open games on the global map alone. Every time I've set up a 5 person game with the somewhat unpopular 8 hour turn limit (most people play with 24 hour turns), it's filled up in just a few hours.
