We are adding more missions in a future content update! There will also be new play modes to help improve replayability.
Ah, that makes sense, but it seems like a waste of time to just run around and let the enemies spawn to defeat enough for the third star. I have defeated all the giants and then killed what red slimes I could before killing the final giant and still only got 2 stars. Guess 2 stars will be enough because I don't just wanna run around letting the red slimes keep spawning while dodging the giant.

I'm looking forward to the next update, thanks.

Edit: Forgot you can defeat the giant without the mission ending >_> So I took it upon myself to find what I believe is the cutoff if anyone is interested. I may do the same for the Chieftain and Slime King in case anyone ever wonders....even though I'm pretty sure this thread is dead now. I'll go ahead and post my findings for the giant at least.

As far as I can tell you have to kill a minimum of 15 enemies to get the 3 star. Although the only difference is 1 token. So for me it isn't worth the extra minute or so I have to spend when I can defeat 2 in the same amount of time and wind up with 4 tokens total.

How are you killing the giant so quickly? What is your gear?

I really wish the 'bosses' had some kind of health meter to know how close you were to killing them or how quickly you were taking them down.

I also wish there were a greater variety of weapons. Higher level monsters drop the same things as those on the first few missions, which is a bit silly IMO. Running a level 27 mission most times nets me some combination of cumbersome mauls, scimitars, rusty shields, and worn blades. There doesn't seem to be any increment in the quality of drops that you get when you are doing runs on higher level missions.

Helmet of Insanity
Brawler's Tunic
Demonic Shield
Giant's Spaulders
Alchemist's Gloves
Paladin's Greaves
Level 12 Lightning Blade (demon slash)

Basically go into a boss fight with your demon slash ready, hit him, use either 2 special potions or 3 major health potions to bring demon slash back to full, rinse and repeat.

I'll also point out I'm a max level 40 so I can equip anything, you can't equip the lightning blade until level 33 unless you buy the IAP version.

That's the setup I was running when I was playing the game. I haven't played in awhile since there's been no real updates to increase max level or any additions to the game other than more IAP stuff.

Default Game Impressions

I'd also like to point out a possible bug. In the mission "Nightmare" I have carefully navigated to what I believe is as far as you can navigate. I came up with the path: Start-up-right-down-right/down-right/up-right-left-up/down-left/up which should end you on red slimes. There's a dead end to the right, going left/down keeps you on that screen and going up returns you to the previous enemies. On the part where there are blue ogres, there is also a dead end to the right.

I found the five chests and there weren't keys in any of them. I played through again with the same result. It didn't matter what enemies I defeated and which ones I just ran through. The keys never showed up for me at all. I'm willing to close out the app completely and retry to see if that helps. Will edit when done.

I don't know if some of these missions were in the last update before this one since I haven't played in quite sometime. But I'd like to point out the 3 definite new missions were just way too easy...it actually got even easier as I started finding better armor to increase my attack (which is now over 1000 and I've managed to hit one enemy for over 51,000 damage using Demon Slash).

I also have some pics of some misnamed armor, which I found to be funny, the main one being a set of Giant's Spaulders that were named Gladiator's Helmet. I may upload those pics if the developer rep ever checks this thread and responds to my post...

Edit: Just tried closing out app completely and doing the Nightmare mission again, still no keys.

Default Royal Armor

I know the Royal Armor exists because some of you say it does. Unless you're all conspiring a huge joke on me. In which case I commend you - well done.

Ive run "The Sting" 214 times, and have found three of the Royal set pieces - shoulders, chest and feet. Ive also found several duplicates of those three pieces. I still need hands and head. I have also run "Slay Some Slimes" and "turning the Tables" 80-90 times each, but have never found a "Royal" piece there, or in any other level.

I then took the 2,950,720 gold I had accumulated and spent it on slot tokens (3,000+) which took over an hour of dragging. Then another two-point-five hours of running the tokens thru the slot machine. I got 4 Royal pieces: three chest and one shoulder. Where the heck can I get the hands and head? They are the only pieces I have never gotten (besides the crystal-only warrior set).

By the way... I got 2.1M in gold from the slot for my 2.9M in tokens.

Default Guru Guy?

What point does the Guru Guy at the top of the hill in the village serve? I'll grant that he's pretty motivational. If not for his constant encouragement, I might have quit playing some time ago. And if I had quit playing some time ago, I might have used that time to rob a bank, or volunteer for the Obama campaign. Then again, I might have used the time for something important - like trimming my nose hair.

Cant complain for free, this pretty much fills my Diablo iOS itch. I thought the IAP would be a deterrent until I started getting IAP gear as random drops, so I guess patience is a virtue. You get 10 IAP crystals from the start, and your biggest upgrade will be weapons so I would suggest just dumping the most you can into a wep upgrade which will last quite awhile.

I bought a 3 crystal sword at around level 6, and I'm level 12 now and still using it, so if I were to do it all over again I would've bought something for closer to my initial 10 crystals to get my money's worth.
