Have a puzzle game originally planned for a 1st Sept release, Apple requested that I release on 8th Sept instead. I obliged and then realise I will be releasing against another "minimally/cleanly designed" puzzle game from a prolific developer in the same week.

    Just my luck.

Look on the bright side, it's better to be featured by Apple and have a big head-to-head competitor than have neither.

well... the modulus of Apple is they wont confirm your feature, especially if it's just under "Best New Game" whereby they won't ask for any additional image assets. They MIGHT decide that my game is an overlap against that other game, and choose theirs over mine because... of course, theirs more polished, and mine being... technically, programmer's art.

[and also, in my circle, i'm a well known goddamn pessimist, lol]
