I'm not really sure I get how the gameplay works. Is it more exploration or are there enemies to kill? It's one of the top five adventure games on the iOS. It doesn't matter if you're a fan of the series, it's just a great game. It might look like it's geared towards the younger crowd, but it's definitely fun for anyone. injuwarrior Well-Known Member Apr 18, 2011 1,502 0 0 USA #5 injuwarrior, Jul 14, 2011 Been playing for a few days now. Can you save while in a level? Also, is it designed so that many coins, hats, and other stuff are supposed to be inaccessible until you come back later (never even seen a red brick yet)? crex Doctor of Game of the Week-ology Oct 18, 2010 7,679 10 0 Everywhere and Nowhere #6 crex, Jul 14, 2011 Definiely agreed. There's a few red bricks around the later levels though that will help you a ton. You can't save in the middle of the level, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem. injuwarrior Well-Known Member Apr 18, 2011 1,502 0 0 USA #8 injuwarrior, Jul 14, 2011 No its not, this is more of a sit down and play for a while game. In any case, controls have long been addressed with a new option. There's now an option for an analog. crex Doctor of Game of the Week-ology Oct 18, 2010 7,679 10 0 Everywhere and Nowhere #11 crex, Jul 15, 2011 I actually find that the original "swipe to move" control to be perfect. tiredcat Active Member May 30, 2011 34 0 0 #12 tiredcat, Jul 15, 2011 Last edited: Jul 15, 2011 I really loved this game. I bought it for my HP obsessed 8 year old. It was quite funny, because while on vacation at Christmas. I had one child laying it on the DSi, I was playing it on the iPad, and my other chid was playing it on the iPhone. As an adult, I really loved it, but I am an HP fan. Yes, the game is set up so that some items can not be accessed in the story mode. You need to unlock other people. This really was a steal at 4.99, and at 2.99... That is an awesome price. ETA: I bought this within a minute of being released, and it has truly been one of my best purchases, AND it is universal.
