You have to make your own original stuff, it can have similar gameplay but if the artwork is too close to mario your gonna get pulled
if its too close; apple will reject it, if it doesnt get rejected; nintendo will sue you if its not original, not many people on this site will buy it and mario fanboys will buy it in a snap then get all hating on you for not being nintendo (the Pocket Devil incident) plus theres already a mario soundboard app called imario so that name is gone
if it does come i will buy it. make a 2d and a 3d version it would be fun to play mario 64 on the iphone
It's amazingly optimistic of you to assume it'll be anywhere near as good as Mario 64, are you disappointed often? Still, Ricky seems to get away with stealing from Nintendo with little to no consequence: http://appshopper.com/games/ricky ...so it could work.
We need to hurry up with our game, SuperTux. iMario - good luck on staying on the App Store. I bet 5 minutes after Nintendo finds out.
Oh. Right. Pure genius. This is his first game. He thinks you can use a PC to develop iPhone Games, and he doesn't have a Mac. So, it is time to bring out my epic piece of code. @import <UIKit/UIKit.h> @interface FacepalmViewController : UIViewController { IBOutlet UIImageView *facepalm;} @property (nonatomic, retain) UIIMageView *facepalm @implementation FacepalmViewController @synthesize facepalm; @end
