Snagged all 3 Hectors. Any comments on whether Wallace & Gromit is any good? Also, Puzzle Agent? I know it has good ratings but i prefer more adventure-types. Is this like puzzles after puzzles?
The Puzzle Agent games are adventure games, but puzzle-heavy, in a similar way to the Professor Layton games, if that helps.
I have all the the W&G games on PC, and while they're not mind-melters as far as adventure games go, they're definitely a lot of fun. If you're a fan of the duo at all, you'd probably also like to know that the games do fit in very well with the other movies, having much the same feel.
That's what I was afraid of . Dun get me wrong, I loved the Layton games on the NDS but at times, the puzzles are too mind-bending (admitedly, I am not the brainiest guy around), esp the mathematical ones, and I end up skipping or using Hints just to get the story moving - a wrong way to appreciate these sort of games. Then again, I am not so math-dumb to not realise great value at 99cents, so, hmmmm.......
Am a definitely a fan of Wallace & Gromit and hence the interest. Noticed that your feedback is based on the PC versions. Read somewhere that the port to iOS is not entirely perfect with framerate issue? Also, is it true that The Last Resort is actually the second in a series and if so, will there be plot lost if the first wasn't played? Lastly, how do you navigate, traditional point and click or virtual joypad? Sorry for the questions, and thanks.
There are framerates issues but if you have an ipad2 you will be golden. The first ipad though has a lot of trouble with almost all of tell tales games.
Exactly the same thing happened to me. Restarted the game at least 3 times before I could get it going again. You passed that now?
