There's a chance, but it's not up to us at this point.

Just gave a try to the game and I'm glad I did it (the hype is well deserved).
The stick is really really smooth, the story seems interesting and I like smashing all the items (and find secret paths) :D The boss in the garden was well balanced and the way to defeat it was nice for a start :)

Is there a way to visit the wardrobe during the play? I only found it on the map, it's not a really practical access.

    Ha srsly?
    Where do I live?
I have finally completely beat the game.

Thanks for the countless hours spent.

Time to wait for the next one :).

Btw did Mage Gauntlet outsell the hook series?

It seems to be selling at about the same rate as Super QuickHook did, actually. Maybe a little higher. Though I think being >20mb on release prevented it from getting as high in the charts as SQH. However, it's been catching up because its sales seem to be more steady and consistent.

Mage Gauntlet updated again! FPS fixes for iPad 1 and 2. Let me know if there's any issues.

Just started playing and it's good fun, but is there any reason to smash barrels or hack down plants? Nothing seems to come of it.

    Wondering the same myself.

If you sift through this thread you'll see that smashing things and never getting rewarded for it is a cruel (and funny) joke.

Yes, I still find myself smashing everything compulsively. Either I'm holding out hope that eventually I will find some awesome item, or I have mental problems.

There are several achievements related to the smashing of things. In fact, the achievements in this game are generally fantastic.

Is there certain things Gnomey can't be found in. I've been playing in the Final Tower for 4+ hours and still haven't seen him. I got him 3 times in the second level, never seen him anywhere else.

He'll come out of anything, but he's rare. So it's best to go to a level with a lot of bushes or something and start chopping. I hear Garden 1 is good for this, right near the beginning.

    NO
Well, it doesn't matter either way, he just disappears in a poof of rainbow.

    Nipping it in the bud

Love the game - have 280 stars without using any IAP and virtually all of them before the latest update.

But this achievement eludes me. I've smashed every suite-of-armor statue in Tetramont 3. What am I missing? It's driving me crazy.

About to go buy the feather to get those remaining starts - I really appreciate the help on this...
