Hi everyone, We're super excited to announce that we're publishing the enhanced remake of Nuclear Outrun, the Flash hit released in 2011 from prolific indie Flash developer, Nerdook (Monster Slayers, Deadly Neighbors, Vertical Drop Heroes). Here are a few screenshots of the remake: The game's premise is absurdly simple: it's you in a truck trying to outrun a nuclear missile that's crashing down to earth. Since it's the apocalypse, the zombies are here trying to stop your escape, and the best part about the game are the crazy weapons and specials that you use to kill them such as: Shark Gun: shoots out a pair of sharks as missiles. George the T-rex : a flying, laser-shooting dino. Fart Bazooka: massive flatulence damage. Squid Launcher: launches squids. Twitgun: shoots out blue birds that changes anything into #hashtags. ------------------------------- BETA TESTERS NEEDED! ------------------------------- We're looking for 10 Beta testers from the Touch Arcade community to help us with feedback and to polish/balance the game. Hi folks, thanks for the overall great response! We've filled up the spots that we need for the beta test for now. We'll be in touch with all the applicants soon and will begin the Beta test sometime next week. In the meantime, here's another screenshot of the game, this time showing George the T-Rex in action!
Hi everyone, We've just concluded our beta test of Nuclear Outrun. The responses have been really awesome - thanks so much to the testers who've helped us! We're preparing the game now for a mid July release, can't wait to show more of the game to you guys soon! PS: Can any mod out there change the thread title to remove the "- Looking for Beta Testers!" part since we've finished the beta?
This was a lot of fun to beta test with tons of unlockables; people should enjoy it. That's all I can say or the developers said they'd send "something worse than a flying cyborg t-rex" my way.
