Yes that is correct. This game is based around heavy physics simulations, so after extensive testing, we decided to only allow installation on devices that would result in a playable frame rate. Unfortunately, many of the non-flagship devices are not powerful enough to run the game, so we disabled it on those devices in order to reduce frustration at a unplayable game. We will be updating the game soon with further optimizations, so we may release it to a few more devices as performance increases soon, so be sure to check back in a bit! Sorry for the inconvenience!
I can't specify exactly what the hard cutoff is as it is mostly from experimenting on hundreds of devices, but here are some rough guidelines for smooth gameplay: Greater than 2gb RAM Processor Equivalent to or more powerful than Qualcomm Snapdragon 810/808 (Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X) Devices that generally fall within this spec are flagship devices from up to 2-3 years ago. Here is a brief list of popular devices that will run it well. Please note that we allow installations on weaker devices, but there will be a suboptimal experience. Even weaker devices that 100% will not be able to run it have been disabled from being installed on. We only have to do this because Caterpillage depends on an advanced and CPU intensive physics system that, until now, have only been available on desktop games. We brought a desktop class physics experience to a mobile platform, which means that older devices will unfortunately not be a good fit. Please note that this list is not exhaustive but only represents devices that we recommend. Fast paced fights Spawn in your own army Fight for resources Develop strategies to defeat your opponent 1v1 matches Global rankings and leaderboards Reach rank 1! In Battles, you face an enemy caterpillar in a fight to the death. Soldiers, tanks, Helipigs and Generals have come to your aid! Spawn in allied units to help you take down your opponent. But beware: your enemy will have their own army to counter. Craft strategies to defeat stronger and stronger enemies as you climb towards the top of the global leaderboards.
