I think I had the biggest high and fall finding this thread. Been dying for a HeroQuest game on ios for a while now, even considered getting a team together to make one myself. Saw this and the screenshots and thought my prayers were answered. Though, seems like a major part of what makes that game great is missing here, multiplayer! Somehow ope I'm wrong, but didn't catch mention of it. Nothing would make this game greater than the ability to pull together a few friends either local or online, and even have one able to play as the dungeon master (aka Zargon!) might be asking a lot, but until then my dreams of the perfect HeroQuest ios conversion go unanswered,
Wow; that's uncool. Can I tip the developer if I feel he deserves to make money too? Hopefully Might Dungeons at least increases in price at some point; it's $1.99 on Google Play without a third party publisher sharing "profit." Cheap games are nice but I'd rather see a developer like Laylio Games stick around.
I PM'ed the dev and suggested a tip jar like Dungeon Plunder or Ravenmark. Said he would take it into consideration. Not that I don't like high quality games for 99c, mind you , but I agree it would be nice to throw a little money his way.
I had a look at adding it within the app but it kinda goes against Google and iOS guidelines. So I will add a tip jar button to the website instead. Will do it over the week end
Why would that go against the guideline since Apple and Google would get their 30% cut of this consumable IAP?
My understanding is that you can't purchase real stuff using IAP. What you buy should unlock something within the game. I could technically create some kind of special item that you get if you "donate" within the game. I'll see what I can come up with. Meanwhile, I've already updated the website The game is up on all the stores Worldwide already: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mighty-dungeons/id621518717?ls=1&mt=8 I hope it does well It's very motivating to see a vibrant community!
Congratulations on the release! It's motivating to see such an active developer! Everyone go buy Mighty Dungeons now!
Thanks!! I hope my game will be worthy of your top RPG games signature at the bottom of your posts someday
Downloading... Download size: 31MB Installed size: 40.8MB Did the first quest, Skeltor, who looks like Sheltem from Might and Magic... Nail biting fun. Reminds me of Galactic Keep with its buttons counter design. Completed the quest with 31/150HP after using many HP potions. Good points: Screen auto rotates, except the second splash screen, weird... Music setting saves properly after I turned it off. Other points: Needs a stay centered on PC auto scroll option. Having to keep scrolling the map around is more like busy work. Is this a bug? After finding a weapon off an enemy, I clicked the inventory bag icon with an enemy standing next to me, hoping to equip it before fighting. The inventory screen popped up briefly to be replaced suddenly by the combat screen which was kind of frozen for a while before it responded to clicks. Clicking on the tutorial button under extras did absolutely nothing. What is actually supposed to happen?
