We're still looking for some beta testers - release candidate one goes out tomorrow! Sign up link: http://tflig.ht/yHGT0g. We decided to have some fun and add a few more characters to the game. You'll be able to play as a Gippy (a guy), Lily (a girl), Agent Frisk (airport security agent), or Stanly (an old guy).
Awesome - thanks for all of your interest. We've approved all of the requests so far, and should be able to get a build out later today.
We just sent out release candidate 1 to those that signed up. With this build we are mostly looking at level balancing and any bugs. We know that the icon still needs some work, and the daily challenges probably are not up to par. We are planning on sending out release candidate 2 next weekend, so there's still a little bit of time to get your input in. We plan on submitting the RC2 build to the app store. Thanks again to everybody that is testing.
Found 1 bug: Step to simulate: 1. Select 1 level to play 2. During the game, tap pause 3. Tap resume 4. Before the counter finished, tap the screen 5. Found out score is starting to reduce in a more faster manner. Found another text problem. "Completed" is unable to view entirely. Please refer to the attachment. iPhone4S iOS 6.0.1
@kofiaa - Thanks! I just sent you a reply asking a couple of follow up questions @williamsyee - Good catch! I don't think we would have found the countdown bug. To show our appreciation, we plan on sending out promo codes as soon as the game is released to those that gave us their feedback. You can still sign up at http://tflig.ht/yHGT0g (we have a few more days until the last build)
We are planning on releasing mid December - either December 13th or December 20th. Apple shuts down all of the App Store rankings starting December 21st. We are thinking that it might make sense to wait until the 20th to release so we stay higher on the recently released list (and the rankings list if it gets that high). On the other hand, if we release on the 13th we have a chance of being featured by Apple during the downtime. However, there is obviously no guarantee of being featured so I think we are currently leaning towards the 20th.
We just sent out our last release candidate. Thanks to all of the testers that have signed up and given us their feedback!
Here is screenshot that I mentioned in our recent feedback: First screenshots shows the original picture of 'Extra', after I tap into the 'Extra' and tap 'Back' button, it shows me 'Play' picture (2nd screenshot). Third and fourth screenshots show my game center leaderboard is missing everytime I install a new build and my game center leaderboard is there again after I played any level. Last 2 screenshots: Displayed incorrect picture for Terminal B, that picture actually is from Terminal A.
@DannyTheElite - Sure! We are going to make one more build either today or tomorrow and we'd love to find any last minute bugs. You can sign up at http://tflig.ht/yHGT0g. @williamsyee - Thanks for all of the feedback. The suitcase matching up with the wrong picture has been fixed, and I think the Game Center leaderboard problem is because I cleared out the data at a couple of different points to test some things
I'd like to thank all of our beta testers again - we really appreciate the feedback. Terminal Escape has been approved by Apple, and we're set to go live on Thursday, January 17! The first post has been updated with the description and screenshots that will appear on the App Store, along with this new trailer:
I just sent promo codes to the beta testers who provided us with feedback during the beta - let me know if I missed anybody. As a reminder, Terminal Escape is set to go live this Thursday!
