NBA JAM will soon arrive for the iPhone and iPod touch, with no word on an iPad release yet. We’re told to stay tuned for some fresh screenshots and gameplay footage this week.

I suspect that with recent quality games from EA (FIFA 11 and Dead Space), this should also be awesome.
My excitement about this is tempered by the fact that I didn't like the Wii and PS3 versions. Of course, if any game was made for quick portable gaming, NBA Jam seems like it would be the one...
If it's like ps3/wii/xbox 360 version then it is. Can't wait for this game tho. I saw this on the front page and squealed like a little girl.
Been waiting a while for this! Hope EA does it right. I always thought this would be a great B-ball title for the iPhone. Regular 5 on 5 just gets a little crowded on such a small screen. 2 on 2 is perfect. Isn't it gonna be kinda tough to use turbo & shoot for the monster jams? We'll see how they pull off the controls. Can't wait for this baby! When???
What the...I don't remember them having those weird big heads in the older versions. Creepy. Especially the GOP/Dems teams. It's like you're playing NBA Jam with Jib Jab cartoons. Kobe and Pierce also both look like they've suddenly become sentient and aware they're trapped in a video game with freakishly deformed bodies and being forced to perform ridiculous dunks for your amusement. The horror.
