The days till i get my hands on my own ipod touch are closeing in, and now I am thinking what games i could get with a £15 ($24.16) itunes voucher. What ever happens with that money i will spend a bit on a first person shooter. So the question i want to ask the communty here is: What is the best first person shooter? Please mind my poor grammer.
I would say Nova, but eliminate is free and I've heard good things abou Call of Duty: World at war Zombies. You can try the lite for that.
I'm just naming a few: Call of Duty: World at War Zombies Modern Combat: Sandstorm N.O.V.A. (Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance) ToonWarz Out of all of them, i'd say get Call of Duty and NOVA.
Does anyone still play ToonWarz? I remember when it first came out it had a multiplayer thread, but that was months ago. I'm tempted to get it, but if no one plays online anymore I might pass. As for my picks, it's: Modern Combat: Sandstorm Infinity Project Doom Classic NOVA and my personal favorite: Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies. Go for the lite version if you're a bit hesitant about buying a game for $9.99.
By the way, it's *Which not witch I would say NOVA, then Eliminate, then Call of Duty: Zombies. All of them are online, so unlimited replayability.
COD:Zombies (best zombie fps) DOOM Classic (the classic 90's fps, great on the iphone also) Modern Combat: Sandstorm (original Iphone FPS.) Infinity Project (only a dollar, big adventure game) Eliminate Pro (free and pretty complete shooter) NOVA (best fps graphics to date, best multiplayer also) Kim Rhode's Outdoor Shooting: (it's like a war fps, except you are hunting turkeys with a missile launcher.) im a huge fps fan and i have almost all of the FPS's on the iPhone including nova, doom, brothers in arms, modern combat, eliminate pro and the best one i have to say is Call Of Duty: Nazi Zombies. It just feels the most like a first person shooter. i know its just playing one level over and over again without a campaign, but the games multiplayer keeps me coming back playing up to two hour sessions still. if your gonna buy an FPS id say make it COD zombies
Wow thank you guys I am amazed with the amount of resposes. I have looked at most of them already and i think i will get Modern combat (side question: I thought there has been a mutiplayer patch for it, has there?) And N.O.V.A looks pritty awesome. I tried eliminateon my sisters 8gb touch and it was really hard to aim and the squares for bulletswere very annoying. But WOW zombies on my friends ipod touch 32 gb (with silicone case) was very easy to aim for some reason.
I have played that on my friends i pod touch and it was really good. But I will get board of it very quickly .
Downloaded COD yesterday and it looks brilliant..but WHAT is up qwith the control?!!! Regardless of setting the aiming reticule rotates all over the place (reminds me of when joysticks used to come 'unbound' on flight sims). Nova and Modern Combat play perfectly with razor sharp control...what is wrong with this game...or is it me (eek!)?
It is slightly diffrent, try draging your finger to a side and leave it there you will see how it works.
