    Hi there
    I need some advice.
I have two versions of the icon for my latest game. The large one (512x512) for the appstore has a lot more stuff and the smaller icon (57x57, 72x72 and 114x144) is just one character for clarity.
Is the difference too great? I know they can be subtly different, but how much is too much?
Does anyone have experience with this? How strict is Apple about this?
Also, is it ever a good idea to put the title in the icon?
    Cheers

The problem is, your iTunes icon will still be scaled down a lot. Check out the icons in the App Store. They are just a little bit bigger than on the iPhone. So, I don't really see a point in adding more details to that icon.

Especially the grass. It's very distracting.

There is nothing wrong with your icon set, as both sets use the same theme.
    Apple won't reject them.

However you should keep in mind what the other guys suggested. Even though itunes icons are 512x512, in most places they show up around 150x150

    Thanks for the advice
I made a 150x150 version and I think I'll take out some of the characters
Also, yeah the grass is pretty lame, I'll see what I can do
    Cheers
