It's not an actual Pokemon game, just a rhythmic game

I didn't see the one in the lounge, sorry. I'm on my iPod right now so it's pretty hard to browse the forums.

And it shouldn't. Buy a Nintendo DS.

You can play GeoSociety which is just like a Pokemon game.

Well it actually is a Pokemon game. If this weren't Pokemon, you can't call the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon or the Pokemon Ranger games, and the Pokemon Rumble/Scramble series "Pokemon Games". What do they all have in common? They are spin-offs.

Actually, it should. I refuse to buy a DS anytime soon, and Pokemon should be on iOS by now. It'd make a killing. Like top 10 killing.

A top 10 killing in the appstore is no where near how much nintendo makes on their DS games ... I mean, they made 30 billion $s off of pokemon alone in one decade. I don't think putting a game on iOS is a priority for them [maybe if it starts to get even more and more popular]

I'm pretty sure they can spend a few $100 to make a Pokemon game for iOS. Even if it means taking a year to make it good quality and maybe price it at about 4.99 (or higher...).

I never said it was a priority. But after 4 years of iPhone, and 3 years of App Store, it really should be here. Nintendo loses thousands more every year to App Store sales. What will it be in three or four more years?

And I'm not asking for a new game. I'd happily take a Pokemon Red/Blue port.

well...atm nintendo can stand on its own with its own console.
I don't think they really need to put one out, especially financially.
I'm not saying a port wouldn't be nice though, because I'd buy it :)
I think this game was more of a "hey look at us, like these characters? buy our system!" type of deal. Sort of advertising I guess.
