I agree it is pretty addicting, you should post screen shots or a video next, and also put more information. I was stupid for just clicking the website on blind faith, but I did. I enjoyed the game though. The object of the game is to see how far you can make it running, while trying to avoid any obstacles in the way. The website takes you to a demo that they have set up on the website. My farthest was 2364.
HOLY SH**!! I was just playing this at armorgames.com, and I was thinking of how great it would be on the iPhone, but it would probably never happen. This is proof that dreams do come true.
Played this and is really a fun game but I wonder if its gonna be a direct port or more content is gonna be added
Seems like it is gonna be a direct port. I am not opposed to this tho, as it is quite a fun game. I could play this for hours.
played this and its so addicting! i discovered if you just tap the jump button, the guy will have short jumps and if you really press the button it will make him jump higher. its a subtle thing that works great. when i first tried the game i really press on the jump button so it always make long and high jumps. its on my list.
4600 before hitting a wall. I was playing this game since 2 weeks, and yesterday I found out it's going to come out for the iPhone. that's awesome!
Just saw this as I was clicking about Adams main website, here's a link to the proper "web version" of the game http://adamatomic.com/canabalt/ I have to say though, I'd be more than happy to buy the app when it comes out, anything to support a dev who's worked on some great indie projects.
What's the big deal with this? It's just Run with cooler graphics, music, action... Wait a minute...that sounds pretty great!
I was working on something almost identical and someone pointed out Gravity Hook to me so I didn't release it out of respect for an awesome developer. The day after a scrapped it a carbon copy of Gravity Hook appeared on the appstore. I was sad both for my scrapped project and for Adam having his fantastic idea nabbed by someone with less respect than me. To be honest though it was kinda hard. Fingers kept getting in the way of the screen.
