Ok
This games an enigma.
It feels like it could be a goty candidate that isn't finished.

The story is so intriguing, the voice acting is great.
But...the animations are low res, and the gameplay doesn't feel right.
The controls are unresponsive at times and the camera doesn't follow your charecters at others.

The story has me so interested I want to keep going, but I'm not sure how long I can keep letting it frustrate me.

At it's base, it's a charming 2.5D platformers.
You're a young boy who's frightened by his parents constant fights, and you decide to face your fears, and the monsters of the night. You turn on light switches to get rid of the monsters, and shoot your plunger gun (which doesn't work very well, and is the source of most of my frustration) to navigate platforms.

Worth a shot, since it's free and I've seen no ads/IAPs.

I felt the same way. The narrative has some much potential, and the story has my interest, but the gameplay is too wonky. Apparently the publisher hosts design students work, because their other game has no IAPs and it's free.

Yeah.
They've published three decently interesting titles in the past several weeks. They have all three been free with no ads or in-apps.

It's frustrating how unfinished this feels. I really wish someone with some real talent would pick it up, and actually finish it. There's a whole lot of potential here.
