I was waiting a while to see if star defense would ever have a sale again ... and then yesterday I figured I'd just buy it thinking it wouldn't have a sale for a long time... Today i wake up and star defense is now 3 dollars cheaper! I know 3 bucks isn't much but when the economy has treated you pretty badly, every lil bit counts...

How many times has this kinda thing happened to you?

Never. Why would you buy a game before it goes on sale?? Just don't do it. :p

That is why you NEVER buy a game until it drops to $0.99 :D

Or wait until it goes to free... of course, that could be after the iPhone is an antique...

You can also take heart in the likely hood that everyone that buys it now at $2.99 will be feeling pain when it drops to $1.99 or $.99 in the future as many big name games have done...

why would you pay $25 for a online dictionary anyways? get the dictionary.com app.

I thought there was some Apple rule where you can ask for the difference back within a certain amount of time after downloading an app (in situations like you are in)...

Have you really lost money ?

I understand everyones point, but if the game was $5 and it drops, you did not lose money because that was the price when you bought it, just like the iphone 3g dropped to $99 but the people who paid more bought it and enjoyed it at the time ......................no use thinking that way , sometimes it's nice to get something when it comes out ..........:)

Things always get cheaper when they get older, when new models come out, when demand goes down..............etc ...if you want it NOW then pay the price, if not wait, but complaining is useless and only takes away the fun. maybe it's worth 4.99 to have that new game today and if it drops it drops !

I am surprised at all the complaining about prices. If you can afford the iphone then the game prices should not be a issue and if you bought a game before a sale, just enjoy it and don't worry:) it balances out in the end getting some on sale and some at full price !!!!!

By the way I bought peggle and Topple 2 the day before they went down and a many others........I wanted them that day and had fun with them:)

I'm not too sure about spending, but I tend to use my promo codes the day before they go on sale. It's kinda weird.
The only one that went on sale was Defender Chronicles, to $0.99 when I bought it for $2.99. But I'm having fun with it.
