Hi all, As an indie dev I know how hard it is to get exposure for your games/apps. That's why I've decided that in the lite version of my new game Blockees I'm going to display ads for other indie games as house ads along with ads served from admob, probably 50/50 split. I won't ask for anything in return (although a link back to Blockees would always be appreciated) as I'll be using my linkshare to take 5% of purchases. All ads well come. I'd just rather have ads in my game that are more relevant to the players. Rather than a bunch of 'LOSE 20LBS IN A WEEK' ads. If it helps some devs sell a few more games and I make a few bucks in commission then everyone wins.
I thought this might have been a little more popular. I'll also be sticking ads in for my favourite games. This is how they will appear within the game. The ads only appear on the home screen. Hi Dan, This is a great initiative, and as mentioned very kind of you. I've put together a couple of banners. I have no dedicated designer as yet so I hope they're OK. If so just use whichever one you think looks best in your app. My game has only just been submitted to the App Store so not yet live, but should be within about a week (unless there are heaps of Val Day apps to get through!). Saw this thread before but my App wasn't out yet. Now it is! This is an awesome idea and would love to be part of it. You're probably getting hit up with lots of dev banners. Just add mine to list and if you can't/don't use it, no worries Oh and like carrytheone, I don't have a dedicated designer/artist so it's just me putting the banner together (artist I am not). If you want it changed in any way to better suit your standards then just let me know. Also, you listed 320x48 so that's what is attached but I have a high res @2x.png version if you need it. Thanks!

I just found your email in my spam folder as well. It looks as though gmail isn;t messing about when the subject contains 'free advertising', heh. Thanks for the code, but save it for someone else. I'll buy your game, and hopefully you get some press with the code.
Haha, hadn't thought of that, Google is such a mother hen. I wonder though, how many spammers advertise that they are advertising in the subject line.
