      Hi!
      Here is link to our blog where u can read and see how did we create icon for our game - Secret of Lost Pyramid. Which was featured by Apple. Link

      Also may be u will find other usefull tips for development.

      So is this to help people who don't know how to create an icon, or are you asking us on how to create icons?

      i did not see any technical data just a progression of your icon.

      maybe im missing the point. cheers.

      Does apple put the glossy effect on the icon when they put it in their store or is that done by the developer?

      It'a added by Apple, but you can choose not to have it applied.
