After my iPod broke I took it back to hmv and recieved a double memory 3rd gen touch for £19!! Anyway, I would like to know of any games that are 3gs/3rd gen only or that play significantly better on the new devices to try out the power!
3GS / Touch 3G only games: Blue Skies 3GS Rockchinko 3Gs Edition Sketch Hop (Free) Dark Raider S Using the power: Adrenaline Gold (fantastic water shaders and a very good game aswell) Worms (more details and effects afaik) Better Performance: I love Katamari Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D Real Racing and other demanding games like Sandstorm or Gang$ter Maybe someone can add something to the list?
And when a game does not need more power at all to run as it should it'll load a lot faster! That's one of the things I like most.
Pandemonium is actually playable on the 3GS, so I'll recommend that one. Eliminate is going to have enhanced graphics on the 3GS. Zen Bound is getting a 3GS update. All of the Pangea stuff runs better on the 3GS as well.
This all sounds great hopefully in the future we will see more games harnessing the power of the new devices.
features aside, the games definitely load much faster on the new itouch(3rd). also the general system menus tend to be snappier and have no pauses/hickups. i might just hold out for the 4th gen, just to see, have a second gen free from work, so no hurry.

wow, nice haha anyway, not specific, but adrenaline golf online has better graphics on a 3GS and is quite a good game anyway. Then you have blue skies and dark raider 3gs versions
Just got done playing Adrenaline Golf and the graphics are pretty nifty. However, ball movement is very sensitive.
