Phew, sorry guys. We were busy moving into our new office yesterday and today, so we were kinda busy with a ton of stuff. But we're all settled in now!


Thanks a ton for testing, Nullzone.

We'll be checking the Soul Drain, drain amount, and see if we can pinpoint the problem.

As for Mass Heal, we talked about it a little, and you're right about it also getting the Remove Debuff trait, but at the moment we're opposed to decreasing the cooldown due to it's already powerful healing increase.

Thanks for the Battle 57 text error. And as for deleting your save, is this something you guys would like? We could add this but we're not sure if its a feature we should add, seeing how we'd like to prevent people from erasing their progress. I understand that even with a prompt, and then a prompt to confirm the prompt it should be pretty clear, but after previous experiences I've had I can say it will go wrong anyway. And we'd love to avoid such things as those.

And then, we'll also take a looksie at the spell tracing recognition.


Since so far there haven't been any game breaking bugs we'll push this towards Apple and add and fix the points mentioned above in a future update.

The new version (1.0.4) is now online and ready for download.


List of fixes and additions:

-Player health and element are now displayed in menus
-Character elements in battle
-Elemental info now available in the options menu
-The arena no longer disappears and displays a message when unable to participate
-Counterfeit Machine effect is emphasized and displayed when receiving rewards.
-Deflect damage now scales according to the damage of the spells.
-Improved visibility and size of 'deflect' shields
-Death effect on AI improved, meaning they will fail more when they are under the 'death effect'
-Fixed issues with the quest 75(only on some devices)
-Art of Knowledge has a stronger effect when leveled
-Hardness has a stronger effect when leveled
-Issues with the Curse spell
-Spell descriptions improved
-Rebalanced first 10 quests
-Camera focus bug removed

Btw, I'm thinking Elementalist now has a permanent place on my ipod I can't think of a better drawing mobile game with a cooler theme. I guess I'll have to shell in more money to force you update with more content!

I finished the campaign, wouldn't mind to see some additional campaign(s) as DLC (not for free, of course).

Pretty good review on this game on the main page. Gave the game some more visibility which is great. To be honest 3.5 doesn't sound great but if you read the review, there's almost no negatives. I'd be thinking it's a 4 or 4.5 after reading.

Also keep in mind that TouchArcade doesn't review that many games so this is good.

Whew, after a very hectic week attending the Casual Connect conference in Amsterdam we're dead tired.

But we are happy to announce that Elementalist was one of three games nominated for the Best Free 2 Play game by Casual Connect Indie Prize! We didn't win at the end but we're still proud at Elementalist being one of the top three best free to play games at the conference!

We're also really stoked about the review! We certainly didn't expect Elementalist to get a review weeks after its release. Something tells me the size of this thread and all your enthusiasm has contributed immensely to getting TouchArcade staff to notice Elementalist! So thanks a lot you guys!

Now though, it's time for some rest!
