Does anyone has experience with integrating ads service in a free app?

I looked through the web and found many ad service provider and I am having hard time to pick one.

These are the big ones I found.

    iAd/MoPub/Admob/Tapjoy/Adwhirl/Flurry

I am looking for something that can actually gain some decent revenue but annoy the player too much, any ideas?

I was only using iAd so far. And I am very satisfied. Also very easy to implement.

We are mainly using iAds for higher eCPMs and backfilling with AdMob for improved fill rate which is giving us good results.

I'm wondering, what % of extra income are you making from AdMob? Just wondering if I need to update my engine to work like yours (iads+Admob if not).

    thanks

For banner ads, AdMob does about double what we do on iAds on a daily basis. For reference our user base is heavily weighted towards North America, Europe, and Australasia though, so we are seeing good results for iAds which have limited coverage. If we didn't, the revenue benefit for AdMob would probably be higher i.e. if a developer has a big user base outside these territories they'd probably see a better result from adding AdMob.

As well as banners, we are also using interstitial ads through via providers such as AdMob and Tremor. These make up the bulk of our advertising revenues.

Although my experience is limited I'm liking Flurry so far. I started just implementing their analytics. I think their appCircle Clips shows a ton of promise in terms of being great for developers and users a like.

IAd / Admob combination. IAd's fill rate outside of the US is terrible so AdMob does a very good job at making up for this.
