Spectacular showdown last week folks! "Pizza vs Skeletons" and "League of Evil 2" were constantly neck and neck, with literally one vote separating them throughout most of the week as the lead bounced back and forth. In the end, the giant pizza was able to edge out against the platforming super agent with 32 votes to 31 respectively. "Beat Sneak Bandit" also placed well will with 22 votes. Congrats to all the entrants! First part is nomination where every member can vote up to 5 games to be included in the poll. 10 games with the most nominations will then be added to the poll on Saturday. Poll will remain open until next Wednesday and whichever game has the max votes, will be the GOTW. Please note: 1) Devs cannot vote for their own games. If your game is in the poll, you can't vote. You are free to ask TA forum posters in your game release thread to vote for your game... but please don't post multiple messages about it. 2) This voting is for TA members - no outsiders allowed. You cannot bring outsiders to join simply to vote and increase your ranking in this thread. Notice of this poll will be given in the threads of all nominated games. Additional games that spring up in the next few days will be added to the OP, so no worries. Please wait until Thursday to begin giving nominations - this is so that we can get the majority of games listed before making decisions. Feel free to help out and list games I haven't added yet. I'll post the pending NZ releases to alert the community to them. Does ZiGGURAT count as a release for this week? It didn't make the long list of releases on last week's thread.
Yeah, honestly, I think this is one of the worst weeks in a while for iOS releases (unless you own an iPad and wanted FFT). It could be saved by OrangePixel's Neoteria, which was delayed but may still release by the weekend.
Right now, I'm unsure! Yeah, it's a small week, but I'm going to put some time into the very few games I got. TBH, I've been disappointed with a lot of release weeks. The only difference is that this one is small. So far Lume is pretty great. SZC: Beyond Dead is quite awesome if you get past the Game Salad crap. I've never agreed with Gabrien more. Ziggurat is awesome and, yes, according to the rules, it should be eligible. Lastly, I see something in Cheezia. I'm going to stick with it, since it works on my device. Hmm... 4 games isn't too bad. Plus, Neoteria is supposed to be coming by weekend's end. I'm not giving up hope yet.
Pretty slow week. Here are my three noms: ZiGGURAT Lume Clear Point If ZiGGURAT doesn't count towards this week's releases, replace it with Munch Time, thanks.
I'll also throw my hat in for ZiGGURAT. Did it even get any nominations last week? I think it should count being on the fence with its release date.
k... can I add Neoteria to my nomination list? if yeah... that would make my nominations; FFT WotL Ziggurat Neoteria
ZiGGURAT gets my vote as well. Don't let this one go under the radar - it is awesome! I'll also nominate Gridrunner, indeed the two games make a nice combination, but I give the nod to ZiGGURAT.
Added all those games to the list and more! Please keep them coming, been a little busy this week but tonight I'll be sure to update with all the details. This isn't a week for big hits so perhaps we could find a few under the radar gems. Remember, anything released from as early as last Saturday counts!
