TouchPets Dogs - Discussion Thought we should have a thread to discuss. I think the game looks pretty entertaining, the graphics are well done for sure. ngmoco has been quite quiet latley, so I assume this is what they have been working on...hopefully it holds up once released.
I'll be picking this up for my kids I'm sure. Not that my 2 year old needs ANOTHER reason (aside from flick bowling and wave blazer) to ask for "i-pawd??"
Looks interesting... I might pick this one up, depends on the price It could be similar to ihusky and Nintendogs on the Nintendo DS But it is always nice to have some kind of pet simulation game
I won't be picking this up. Nintendogs was a lot of fun and all, but I just don't see myself playing anymore dog-owning sims, especially when I have a lil' dog right here with me
Personally i don`t think it`ll be a hit. I can`t imagine people paying to evolve a dog. But i might be wrong, lets see =p P.S : The game sure has good graphics and is polished
i will probably be getting this. it looks kind of fun. i only wish the graphics were more realistic like in the iPuppy games that are already out. also just to let the ngmoco fans know, they just tweeted that worfu is almost dont and then topple2 will be soon to follow. and they are working on an update to rolando that they want to get out very soon that will bring more levels! woohoo!
I like the dogs' cartoon look, having uber detailed dogs would probably make the game lag and objects be rough...
Aw, yes, nothing's cuter than a couple megabytes of data. I just don't see the appeal in this game. Pokemon, yes, because there's a point. This is made for petless people. I've got my own boxer that I can hug and play with. The dogs, like some said, are way too cartoonish. "Hewo cooty paws, who's desperate for a pet. Hoooos desperate for a pet?"
There is apparently A LOT more to this game. Check out this hands on preview of ToughPets Dogs. http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/TouchPets+Dogs/news.asp?c=11887 Can a mod please move this to the new Upcoming games board? thanks!
Ehh, it's ok for people who like that kind of stuff. I can't say that I'd spend money taking care of a a virtual pet and all. I mean, it's cute and everything but you just don't get an authentic feeling from having a real pet and cuddling up and playing with it since, really now, it's just a virtual pet. It's never be like a real dog. So, I wouldn't buy it but that's just me.
