I didn't really know what forum this fit into so I'm just posting it here. I've recently noticed that all apps in the Australian AppStore (my home country) and possibly the Canadian AppStore (I think?) have all increased in price. 99c -> $1.29 Some $1.99 -> $2.49 Some $1.99 -> $2.99 Some $1.99 are still $1.99 Some $2.99 -> $3.79 Some $2.99 are still $2.99 $4.49 -> $4.99 $5.49 -> $6.49 $7.49 -> $8.99 $8.49 -> $9.99 $9.49 -> $10.99 $20.99 -> $24.99 I haven't checked any higher priced apps but I guarantee they'd have a similar percent increase in price. This is apparently because of the low Australian dollar and what not. Apparently in the New Zealand and possible the Indian AppStores the prices of apps have actually decreased. I for one am quite a bit affected by this because I'm a 17 year old still in school and currently jobless and I commonly play paid iOS games. So now I'm going to have to fork out more money, that I don't have much of to start with, to buy the games I'd like. What are your thoughts on this? I can tell people in these countries will be annoyed because they're having to pay more money but do you think Apple was in the right by changing it to fit the falling dollar?
Well that goes without saying, had(or when) it happens in the states they'll be a crap ton more of complaing , anger, denial etc..
