But the minimum that should have come with this released version, is the badly missing Gamecenter. *deep sigh and shakes his head* That story of two Devs releasing a similar game and specially with the same name, is really something, too. I have the feeling here, the Dev rushed his game out WAY too early because of this. Pity. Some publisher should give the Dev some money and another 3 months to put the deserved meaty flesh on this very bare bone. NOEN Well-Known Member Jul 31, 2012 3,245 0 0 U.S. #3 NOEN, Nov 24, 2015 I'm playing both games at the moment and both are excellent. As far as this one goes, I'm actually playing it a little more. It's one of those games that seems like a quick high score chaser from the screenshots, but is actually a lot deeper once you play it. There's tons of costumes, weapons, upgrades, missions, and even some secrets. It takes a couple minutes to get the hang of, but once you get the hang of it, you can get on some pretty long runs. Definitely worth checking out IMO. I'm having a lot of fun with it. Concerning in-game upgrades, think of the great Slayin. By bare bone i meant, there are no hand holding descriptions or a tutorial (though it's rather simple to find out for yourself) what you can or have to do, how and when you unlock some new stuff. Or the awkward bomb layout on top of the screen (no customize option). It simply doesn't give me that "this is a complete game" feeling as Slayin was right from the beginning. I think you get my point. Without sticking to it for a while, i can see frustrated rage quitters and deleters. Just to have a little orientation, my best run was 747 with a 1292 score. PS: i still have five locks (still locked) on the option screen. Did you unlock one? But i have a golden cup #1 on my Gear Up screen. Did i get a permanent starting bomb for this reward, can't recall... NOEN Well-Known Member Jul 31, 2012 3,245 0 0 U.S. #5 NOEN, Nov 24, 2015 Your a lil farther than me I think. I totally agree on everything you said tho. I don't mind games not having big tutorials. I can't stand hand holding sometimes, but it would have been nice to have a little "heads up" on things. Even like something in the options. Like are the upgrades permanent or just exclusive to that run? (I swear my knight is spinning faster, but his sword doesn't seem to be as long.) The purpose of the leveling system. Things like that. Lol, I totally agree on the bomb button placement. Still, all in all, it's a great game! Every time I play, I learn a little more about the game. GameCenter would be cool, but I haven't had GameCenter working on my phone since iOS 9 started. It worked for a week or so and went back out. (So, heads up to anybody reading this that's on my friends list. I'm still playing, GC just isn't working for me. Lol) GameCenter works fine on my iPad Air 2 and my iPod 5G and even my old iPhone 5 and 4S. Just not my iPhone 6. Anyway, I'm rambling. Bottom line, this game is good. Just stick with it. thumbs07 Well-Known Member Jul 20, 2010 922 0 16 UK #6 thumbs07, Nov 27, 2015 Game of the week for me. Lovely novel mechanism, and with variety. thumbs07 Well-Known Member Jul 20, 2010 922 0 16 UK #7 thumbs07, Nov 30, 2015 Still playing this. Score over 1000 now. But not worked out what you meant to do when you come across the big locked thing. Just going to keep collecting keys and see what happens. Have you unlocked quest #11? It shows your "reward". Spoiler you can carry 3 keys the max, but they only open boxes. Use them. You have to find 3 shards which will put together automatically in a cut-scene, and then don't miss that locked house. The shards seem to be found always later in a level. I'd say, only in the boxes. It wasn't always that clear due to a messed up screen by an explosion. Edit: i edited the spoiler after i finally beat the game. Last mission (impossible): beat the game in hard mode, gulp. thumbs07 Well-Known Member Jul 20, 2010 922 0 16 UK #9 thumbs07, Dec 4, 2015 Well done on beating in hard mode.
